Shoe Review: Nike 1/2 Cent Eggplant

2-Cent-Eggplant

The Nike 1/2 Cent Eggplant was released October 20, 2010. The retail price for them when for $190 USD. It was release in other colorways such as Cranberry, Deep Royal, all Black, and Metallic Silver. The sneaker  takes details and accents from Anfranee “Penny” Hardaway’s first four signature shoes and the Nike Air Foamposite one.

When I wore them they were true to size. The padding inside of them was very thick. The sole of my feet would feel weird though i guess because the in-soles were dull. I grew accustom to them after a few wears. The laces were kind of long so they would hang down almost to the ground if you didn’t tie them twice. Compared to other basketball sneakers, they are actually pretty heavy. I would recommend the 1/2 Cent “Eggplant” to anyone who enjoys wear basketball sneakers whether its for sports or fashion reasons.
